In the spring of 2023, we began construction of five residential buildings across the street from the mosque, with six apartments in each building and 36 parking spaces total.
These 30 spacious apartments are 1250-1300 sq ft with large windows facing the mosque, two bedrooms and two bathrooms each. The senior-friendly residential apartments will have elevators to allow inhabitants easy access to the mosque and wider community inshaAllah.
The Journey to Sustainability

In 2023, we launched the construction of the Windsor Endowment Project.
The Goal
Raise $3 million to complete the construction of 30 apartments as part of the Windsor Islamic Association (WIA) endowment, ensuring long-term financial sustainability for the Windsor Mosque.
This Senior-Friendly Housing Project is an endowment (Waqf) for our Masjid and will Insha’Allah serve our community and fund many projects and programs for decades to come. It therefore presents a great opportunity for a living charity (صدقة جارية) which can be done on behalf of yourself or a loved one.
